Margaret River, Australia - 2013 Photography: First three photos from Giulio Aristide - Peter Bennetts
Sempre lo stesso cielo
The series "Sempre lo stesso cielo" (Always the same sky) was born from a small daily ritual, which I started without any reason. Take a photo of the sky above me every day, wherever I was. After almost two years that the photos accumulated undisturbed and for no reason, I accidentally began to think about the great clouds of flocks, floating on the EUR, which I saw as a child from the window of my room. That huge multitude of birds constantly and unconsciously generated new forms, resulting from the sum of the actions of each individual. Both the sky and the shapes generated by flying birds are instants of a continuous mutation and both have a strong relationship with the concept of Time and Future, and also with the constant attempt, typically human, to try to guess it.
